TVU - the first link i posted now has nhl center ice which is an all hockey channel. it's all you will ever need.

i just installed and run. clicked and double clicked on nhl and other channels and nothing come thru.

it's possible that the streamer went offline. otherwise, i've had one person telling me he couldn't view anything on tvu which is probably a firewall issue. try a different channel.

ive tried a few channels, could be a firewall issue, ill check the tvu player website...

The NHL channel got shut down a while ago. The people who were streaming it got a letter from the NHL telling them it was illegal. You can occassionally get the odd game on TVU if someone is streaming TSN. That's Canada's leading sports channel.

I thought I read about a torrent site on Puckhandlers, but it could have been another forum. Can't remember.

I downloaded Leafs v Ranegrs from 31/1. Good enough quality to watch on your TV. They are large files. 1gig so be prepared to wait for a while for them to download.

Not a lot of games there yet, but I think the site is pretty new so get one board and support it.

This thread is from ages ago. I don't use TVU or Sopcast anymore but it's relatively unreliable. Channels getting shut down, having to depend on other people to stream the game for you etc.

It aint free but for $150USD for the season you can sign up at nhl.tv and get every game of hockey live. You can even watch four games at a time on split screen on your computer. That's how I roll these days.

Oh, aliright Thanks... I just have to listen to the game then. I don't get Versus, and there's always games that I can't see on it, and I just wanted to know if I could online... Thanks anyways.

There are ways and I know guys who watch them that way. I think Sopcast is the popular program that they use, but like I say I'm not really sure.

Because of copyright issues those free streams are constantly moving so I'm not really in the loop.

hey, I know that yahoo usually broadcasts one game live a night. Go to http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl and look around at the schedule. They will put a little camera next to the game and it will say watch live. They post about a week ahead of time the games they will broadcast the next week.
